G\u00e1latas: 6. 14. Mas longe esteja de mim gloriar-me, a n\u00e3o ser na cruz de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, pela qual o mundo est\u00e1 crucificado para mim e eu para o mundo.<\/em><\/p>\n

A cruz \u00e9 um grande mist\u00e9rio de Deus. \u00c9 o instrumento de minha morte e o caminho de minha vida. Nela sou mortificado, Esmagado todos os dias e o dia todo. N\u00e3o h\u00e1 como fugir. De certa forma, ela me atrai e fascina, me assusta e me desespera. S\u00f3 na morte da cruz acho o caminho para a vida, e o caminho para a verdadeira paz.<\/p>\n

Meu ego reluta, minha carne exaspera-se, meu cora\u00e7\u00e3o geme de expectativas pela transforma\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Oh! Instrumento de minha morte, por que tanto me atrai?<\/p>\n

Que fasc\u00ednio pode haver em pregos grotescos e em madeiro mal aparelhado, cortante e desconfort\u00e1vel?<\/p>\n

Oh! Rude cruz!<\/p>\n

Levaste meu mestre ao horto do desespero, \u00e0 ang\u00fastia inexprim\u00edvel do Gets\u00eamani.<\/p>\n

N\u00e3o poupaste o Autor da Vida, Porque pouparias a mim?<\/p>\n

Em sangue transformastes o seu suor e aprofundaste a sua dor, e por causa do meu pecado, nela abristes os bra\u00e7os em agonia ao mais vil dos pecadores.<\/p>\n

Nas lascas mal acabadas, nas quinas, no rude madeiro, o sangue escorre abundantemente para aniquila\u00e7\u00e3o do natural, para fazer sucumbir o velho homem deformado e mal, e num verdadeiro milagre brotar a vida da morte.<\/p>\n

Desce da cruz! \u00c9 a proposta que a todo o momento nos assedia e assola. “Se \u00e9s filho de Deus, desce da Cruz!” MT 27.40. Para que morte t\u00e3o vil e humilhante se podes viver a vida abundante aqui e agora? Oh! Doce Jesus, esmagado foste e mo\u00eddo ao extremo para que em mim surgisse a tua vida.
